Welcome to the OK Movie Stream Awards!

The OK Movie Stream Awards is in it’s 3rd year of the annual film festival celebrating bold, inspiring, and family-friendly stories that uplift, entertain, and reflect the heart of everyday people. Founded by regional streaming platform OK Movie Stream, our mission is to spotlight filmmakers and storytellers who bring hope, humor, and humanity to the screen—without compromising on quality or creativity.

We’re especially passionate about championing family friendly, faith-based and regional voices, as well as independent creators whose stories are often overlooked by mainstream outlets. Whether your work is heartfelt, hilarious, meaningful, mysterious, or musical—we want to see it!

Selected films and or movie trailers will be streamed for a limited time on OK Movie Stream (with filmmaker approval) for viewer’s choice awards, reaching an audience of viewers across the U.S. who are hungry for clean, inspiring entertainment. In addition to traditional awards, select winners may be offered licensing opportunities for digital distribution through our platform.

We invite submissions from all over the world, but proudly offer discounts for Oklahoma filmmakers, students, and faith-based creatives.

The OK Movie Stream Awards honors inspiring, family-friendly, and faith-based storytelling from passionate creators across film, series, and digital platforms. Winners will receive:

• 🎥 Licensing Opportunity – Select winners will be offered a chance to have their films, series, or shows licensed and featured on OK Movie Stream, our regional streaming platform

• Best Feature Film
• Best Comedy
• Best Stand-up Comedy Special
• Best Short Film
• Best Documentary
• Best Faith-Based Film
• Best Storytelling
• Best Regional Film – Awarded to a filmmaker from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, or Missouri
• Audience Choice – Movie Trailer (finalists' trailers promoted for public voting)
• Best Video Podcast
• Best Student Film
• Best Children's Show or Movie
All winners and official selections will receive digital laurels, media exposure, and a chance to join a growing community of like-minded creators who believe in the power of positive storytelling.

Rules & Terms

📜 OK Movie Stream Awards – Rules & Terms
By submitting to the OK Movie Stream Awards, you agree to the following:
🧾 Eligibility
• We welcome submissions from around the world, with a special focus on creators in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.
• All genres are accepted, but content must align with our core values of uplifting, positive, and clean storytelling.
• Submissions must be appropriate for general audiences — the equivalent of a PG or PG-13 rating:
o No graphic violence or gore
o No strong language or profanity
o No nudity or sexual content
o No content promoting hate, intolerance, or drug use
⏱ Length Requirements
• Short Films: Under 20 minutes
• Feature Films: 40 minutes or more
• Documentaries: Any length
• Children’s Shows, Podcasts, and Episodic Content: Up to 30 minutes per episode or submission
🗓 Completion Date
• Films must have been completed on or after January 1, 2022.
📬 Submission Guidelines
• All submissions must be made through FilmFreeway.
• Include a working screener link (FilmFreeway upload, Vimeo, or YouTube).
• Non-English submissions must have English subtitles.
💲 Entry Fees
• Entry fees are non-refundable.
• We offer discounts to students and regional filmmakers (OK, TX, AR, KS, MO).
📢 Selections & Awards
• Finalists and winners will be notified by email and featured on our website and social media. With Finalist selected each month from each category. Finalist will also be invited to attend the ceremony held Friday December 5, 2025 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center.
• Select winners will be offered a chance to license their project for streaming on OK Movie Stream, subject to a separate licensing agreement.
• Audience Choice – Trailer will be voted on by the public.
📽 Screening & Promotion
• By submitting, you give us permission to use clips, stills, and promotional material for festival promotion.
• Finalists and winning trailers may be featured for public voting and promotional screenings.
⚖️ Legal Requirements
• You must hold all necessary rights to the submitted work.
• OK Movie Stream and its affiliates are not liable for unauthorized submissions.
• By entering, you indemnify and hold harmless the festival and its partners.

We are grateful to have our "Breaking Strongholds" Season 2 Trailer selected as the 2025 Award Winner for Audience Choice - Movie Trailer. Participating in this film festival has allowed us to connect with fellow Christian filmmakers and gain valuable insights from one another.
