Odesa International Film Festival is an annual film festival which will hold in the capital of Ukraine, in Kyiv this year. Founded in 2010 for the popularization of high-level intellectual films among Ukrainian viewers and support, development of cinema inside the country and on the international stage. The Festival became the brightest summer film event and took its place on the world film map. Exclusive film premieres, workshops of leading world filmmakers and unique festive atmosphere – all of this bring together 9 days of Odesa International Film Festival!

The Film Festival program includes the following sections:
- National Competition Program
- International European Competition Program

During the Film Festival, the winners of the National Competition Program are determined in the following categories:

- "Best Ukrainian Feature-Length Fiction Film";
- "Best Ukrainian Feature-Length Documentary Film".

The International European Competition Program winners are determined in the category "Best European Feature-Length Film".

1. National Competition Program

1.2. For selecting films for participation in the National Competition Program, Ukrainian feature-length films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental, completed in 2023 or 2024, are eligible.
1.3. Acceptance of applications for participation in the National Competition Program begins on December 19, 2023, and is free of charge. The National Competition Program is open to participants who are citizens of Ukraine or have a residence permit. Participants must meet the requirements of section 2.1.
1.4. To apply, it is necessary to fill out the online form on the Film Festival's official website and provide all the materials specified in the online form by 14:59:59 (Kyiv time) on May 1, 2024.
1.5. Up to 6 films may be selected for participation in the National Competition Program.
1.6. Films submitted for participation in the National Competition Program may also be selected for participation in non-competitive programs of the Film Festival. Such participation is additionally agreed upon with the person who applied. By submitting films for the selection of OIFF programs, the applicant guarantees the film's participation in case of its selection and commits to assisting the Film Festival in organizing the screening and inviting the creative team by providing all necessary materials, film copies, subtitles, etc.
1.7. The selection of films is carried out by the selection committee of the National Competition Program, determined by the Organizer of OIFF. The Organizer approves the composition and number of members of the selection committee for an independent expert evaluation of the competition program and the final list of films selected for participation in the National Competition Program proposed by the selection committee. Priority will be given to films for which the showing within the National Competition Program will be the Ukrainian premiere.

2. International European Competition Program

2.1. For selecting films for participation in the International European Competition Program, European feature-length films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental, completed in 2023 or 2024, are eligible.
2.2. Acceptance of applications for participation in the International European Competition Program begins on December 19, 2023, and is free of charge. The International Competition Program is open to participants from all EU member countries and associated EU member countries. Participants must meet the requirements of section 2.1.
2.3. To apply, it is necessary to fill out the online form on the Film Festival's official website and provide all the materials specified in the online form by 14:59:59 (Kyiv time) on May 1, 2024.
2.4. Up to 6 films may be selected for participation in the International European Competition Program.
2.5. Films submitted for participation in the International European Competition Program may also be selected for participation in non-competitive programs of the Film Festival.
