Odair Faleco is a multidisciplinary artist and AI filmmaker working at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and visual culture. Born in Brazilian and shaped by life between São Paulo and Prague, his work explores the poetic tension between the ordinary and the unseen.
With a background on street photography, music, writing, and design, Faleco brings a cross-disciplinary sensibility to filmmaking—merging traditional cinematic language with emerging tools. Since 2023, he has focused on AI-driven film production, positioning himself at the forefront of this new creative frontier.
He is the founder of zero1cine, the first curated platform dedicated to empower artists and showcase high-quality AI short films, and serves as President and Curator of the Czech Int. AI Film Festival in Prague. Through both initiatives, he actively contributes to elevating standards and visibility within the AI filmmaking space.
His work has been recognized with multiple awards and selections, including the Prague Music Video Awards, and the AI for Good Global Summit by the United Nations in Geneva.
Faleco’s practice is driven by a clear belief: AI is not here to replace cinema, but to expand it—unlocking new forms of storytelling while preserving the human voice at its core. For a long time filmmaking was a privilege of a few, like it or not, new technologies are changing that, and making the space more democratic.
