Director Biography - Odair Faleco

Odair Faleco is a multidisciplinary creative artist working at the intersection of art, creativity, and technology. Born in Pompeia, Brazil countryside, he has spent most of his life in São Paulo and Prague, traveling the world with his camera to capture unique stories.

Beyond filmmaking, Faleco is also a street photographer, musician, and writer, blending multiple artistic expressions into his work. In 2023, he embraced the power of AI to produce short films, establishing himself as a pioneer in this emerging field. As a creative partner of the leading AI video tools, he plays a key role in shaping the industry while also being an educator and a recognized figure in the AI filmmaking community.

He is the founder of zero1cine, the first curated AI movie database, dedicated to documenting and curating the best films created with new technologies. His innovative work has earned him multiple awards and honorable mentions at film festivals, including the Prague Music Video Awards, where he won Best Experimental Film.

Faleco is also the President of the Czech International AI Film Festival in Prague, further cementing his influence in the AI-driven cinematic revolution.
