Celebrating the work of young filmmakers, the High School Film Festival hosted by Oklahoma City University invites high school students to submit their best work in narrative, documentary, animation, or experimental filmmaking. Selected films will be screened at the newly restored Rodeo Cinema in Oklahoma City. Jury prizes in cash and scholarships will be awarded.

Top entries awarded up to $5,000/year scholarships to study film at Oklahoma City University. Additional $500 cash Jury Prize awarded to one filmmaker, courtesy of NGP.

Festival is open to all genres and modes of filmmaking including narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental. No entries longer than 10 minutes (including credits). All crew members must have been enrolled in 9-12 grade at the time of production. Filmmakers agree that if selected, Oklahoma City University may use stills or other material from selected entries for promotional purposes.
