  • We were honored to have our short, "Straight Laced," screen at this terrific CT festival. The theater has that grand feel that is rare these days. The films were awesome, and this fest even had the clout to host the East Coast premiere of the brilliant musical comedy "Power Ballad" with Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. The team was friendly and well organized. Only complaint: need better lighting for the step and repeat (but the photog was the nicest guy!). Well done and thank you to this up-and-coming fest in up-and-coming creative hotspot: East Norwalk, CT.

  • Thank you for selecting my film "mutuals" for the rising talent block! I was honored to receive the audience award for my small, but heartfelt project! The people make this festival amazing!

  • I had a great experience with this Festival. I met a diverse range of independent producers and was even more surprised by the diverse ages of all the producers. It was a community experience. The audience feedback from my film was valuable, also.

Based on the submission experience and communication alone, Norwalk Film Festival made a very positive impression. Even without attending in person, the festival felt organized, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive of filmmakers. Communication was professional, clear, and personable, making the process feel smooth and welcoming rather than automated or transactional. From a distance, Norwalk Film Festival comes across as a festival that truly values creative storytelling and independent voices, and it is one I would be excited to submit work to again.
