Victoria Eva Cornejo (she/they) is an Ecuadorian and South Asian multimedia artist based in Connecticut and New York.

She works across numerous mediums such as film, garment making, photography, and video art in order to bring childhood ideations and eccentric narratives to life.

As a filmmaker, she explores the highs and lows of female embarrassment and simmering desires crafting visuals that illuminate the intimate, awkward moments we assume go unseen. Through deeply personal storytelling, she seeks to produce a body of work that resonates both on screen and on the page. Offering glimpses into how she makes sense of the world around her—a tender, squirming, and deeply human world, alive with imperfection.

She was chosen for the selective 2024 HieronyVision x Film Independent “10X10 Filmmakers to Watch” Incubator Program, where she received guidance while developing her two latest projects. She recently completed her first short film, mutuals, a heartfelt comedy, through Wesleyan University’s Undergraduate Film Program. Right now, she's beginning to edit the road-trip documentary—an American odyssey of sorts— she shot with her filmmaking partner last summer. Coming soon…
