Newham Film Festival

Sorry I wasn't able to make the festival but I was thrilled to hear my film Visiting Bird was selected for the festival

Was really proud to be nominated for the festival but unfortunately I have heard nothing since. I have sent 3 emails over the last month and I am still not sure if my film won, what it was nominated for, and if I am going to receive a laurel. I'm sure it's a great festival but the communication is non-existent. I'd be happy to take down my review once I have received a response

I was particularly impressed with the Newham Film Festival's approach to simplicity in their categories and communication. The straightforward and well-defined categories made the submission process smooth and enjoyable. The festival team's proactive communication, through regular letters and updates, ensured that we were consistently informed about the proceedings, deadlines, and important details.

So much fun to be part of this festival! Enjoyed the work of other filmmakers a lot. Since we couldn't attend in person, we were happy to be able to watch by Zoom. Looking forward to next episodes!
