Submissions for #NZWF24 open on 1 February.

Since 2015 NZ Web Fest has curated and celebrated online entertainment. Since 2017 the festival has been a proud participant in the Web Series World Cup. In 2023 the festival became a participant in the inaugural edition of the Audio Fiction World Cup.

We've simplified submissions by using open categories only, but will make selections and present awards in separate NZ and International categories as we usually do.

In 2024 we will further expand the award categories for podcasts and short films.

#NZWF24 will present awards.

We look forward to enjoying more Kill Every Monster in 2024.

  • Starship Q Star

Incredibly run festival that not only made the program accessible to watch for those who couldn't attend in person, but also allowed for international creators to be involved in both Q&As and award ceremonies. Moderators of panels were fantastic and allowed for thoughtful discussion and made sure all panellists participated. Very communicative and professional and gave very clear instructions for anything they required. Even mailed the trophy internationally which many don't do! Great and up to date socials, and a really great team. Would highly recommend!

It was great to have Starship Q Star as part of the festival. Congrats, again, on your win, and we look forward to seeing the animated content when that's completed.

  • Such a well-organized and supportive event! The team was always quick to respond to emails and I greatly appreciated the newsletter with festival updates. I highly recommend folks submitting, as I hope to do again in the future.

Great Webfest! They are super attentive and really make you feel part of something. The outreach and communication were superb. We have participated in a number of webfests, and I'd have to say that NZ is among the best.
