Mohamed Ait Hamou is a multidisciplinary artist based in Algeria, working as a filmmaker, puppeteer, and 2D/3D/stop-motion animator.

He has undergone various training programs focusing on technical aspects of animation and has been involved in numerous major film projects as an assistant since 2006. During this time, he also started writing his first adaptations in Tamazight between 2010 and 2012. He has gone on to script and direct various animated and fiction films, which have garnered international recognition and awards.

Additionally, he is the founder and director of INNOVART FILMS Production, a company established in 2014. Currently, he is in the process of developing future projects in both fiction and documentary genres, further contributing to the world of cinema in Algeria and beyond.
