I am beyond grateful. I haven't stopped giving praise for this honor and opportunity. A huge thank you to the festival for awarding me Best Veteran Actress in "A Million Voices: Only One Matters." I have no words. This is so sacred and special to me. Thank you for uplifting not just marginalized voices, but female veteran voices.

This was one of the best film festivals I've attended in the last few years. Hosted in the beautiful Skirball Cultural Center, the MVA team pulled out all the stops to fill that venue up! The red carpet experience was fun and I met a great deal of incredible veterans and filmmakers while waiting my turn with my wife to get our pictures.

Check-in was a bit slow and slightly unorganized but the rest of the experience was so enjoyable I quickly forgot about the early line. The event honored special guests who remained throughout the event to see many of us awarded for our works and my team was blessed to walk away with a beautifully crafted award.

The small areas where the event lacked, Joe took to the stage to address to the crowd, note the issues and anything within his power to remedy, he took to explaining. Stand up accountability and incredible professionalism. I would attend this event again any time it is hosted - Recommend to every single person veteran and non veteran alike! Thank you to the brave service men and women who were in attendance.

What a meaningful and important film festival. And such a beautiful and well-run award ceremony. It was an honor to have our film, Roxy & The Man, be part of it.
