Michelle Tang is a 19-year-old filmmaker, studying Psychology and Film Production at Princeton University. She has worked on over 50 projects in a variety of creative and technical positions. Her films have screened at over 70 film festivals worldwide, including the Woodstock Film Festival and the Mill Valley Film Festival, accruing over 30 awards. Notably, Tang is a two-time National Student Emmy nominee, a Scholastic American Visions Award finalist, and a YoungArts winner. In 2024, she was named an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow and was accepted into the Gotham Film and Media Development Program. As a Psychology major, Tang enjoys exploring concepts related to learning, behavior, and identity in her films and employs a psychological lens throughout the production process.
