Director Biography - Michelle Tang

Michelle Tang is a narrative and documentary filmmaker from NJ, studying Psychology and film production at Princeton University. After teaching herself production by watching Youtube videos and reading books, Tang made her first film at 13. Since then, her films have screened at over 70 film festivals worldwide, including the Woodstock Film Festival and the Mill Valley Film Festival, accruing over 30 awards. She was also nominated for two National Student Emmys and the Scholastic American Visions Award. As an intern, Tang has has worked in production and post-production for CNN and Fox.
