The Max Sir International Film Festival brings art-focused films from all over the globe to viewers. The festival event showcases works in art & theater documentaries and shorts.
The festival will feature competitive categories:
- narrative short film (narrative short movies up to 10 minutes connected to the art topic)
- documentary short film (films about creating arts as well as paintings)
- animation (connected to the art topic)
- short movies made using AI
- theater showcases (theater plays or their parts can be recorded like a promotion of plays)
This will be the third year of the festival. The first edition was held in Costa Rica, gathering more than 3000 groups of filmmakers from more than 143 countries which made the festival the most popular in the country. The second year was held in Ukraine in the Lviv Art Palace, connecting more than 6000 filmmakers from more than 160 countries. The participants of the festival will get access to our web platform which provides a filmmakers community, as well as workshops from experts in different disciplines in cinematography. The winners of the competitive categories will be eligible to make their own classes on the platform and compete for an award made by Max Sir.
