I spent about 16 years studying and growing up in China, in cities such as Shanghai, Dalian, and Beijing, acquiring native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese. This multilingual ability and exposure to diverse cultures have had a profound influence on my cinematic imagination and creative vision.
Since middle school, I have been publishing web novels in Chinese, developing my sense of writing and visual storytelling. Today, I continue to create works in both Korean and Chinese.
I am currently pursuing an integrated master’s and Ph.D. program in Film Directing at Hanyang University’s Graduate School of Theatre and Film. I have directed several short films that have been screened and awarded at film festivals both in Korea and abroad.
Through genre experimentation and visually immersive storytelling, I aim to leave a strong impression on audiences and offer them new visual experiences. Building on my multilingual and multicultural background, I strive to create richer and more original films that transcend borders.
