Mark Hampton is an award-winning actor based in the UK who has appeared in numerous film, tv and commercial productions, and an award-winning filmmaker, who has won awards for both his dramatic and comedic short films which he has written and directed.
Mark's acting credits include Hollywood feature films Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life and World War Z, and British TV dramas Jonathan Creek and Casualty. He has fronted global commercial campaigns for Tiger Beer and Mercedes Benz.
Mark wrote and directed boxing short film 'Town vs Gown', which was completed in 2015. It had its US premiere at the Rhode Island Film Festival and its UK premiere at the British Urban Film Festival. It won several awards and was nominated for Best Short Film by Empire magazine.
Mark also won an Empire award in 2010 for his comedy re-make of Top Gun, which was Done in 60 Seconds and featured real-life F-15 fighter jets from the US Air Force.
Mark lives in Cambridge, England with his wife and three children - none of whom are interested in acting or film-making.
