Mark Hampton is an award-winning actor and filmmaker based in the UK. He has appeared in numerous film and TV productions from Hollywood blockbusters to independent films.
As a film-maker Mark has won awards for both comedic and dramatic short films. His dramatic shorts often touch on social injustice and inequality, such as his award-winning short film 'Town vs Gown', and his new short 'Acceptance'.
Acceptance is essentially a story about broken politics - and how a well-intentioned, honest man can be poisoned by the compromises that must be made, the lies that must be told and the promises that must be broken, until he no longer recognizes himself. The news that Allen Young receives just before taking the stage reminds him of his youthful optimism and he realizes that he has become the very thing he sought to overcome.
