We want the best worldwide film stories to promote filmmakers’ and help them to reach bigger audiences.

The Manhattanhenge Film Festiva is an open door for independent filmmakers. It's a special jury formed by academicians, producers, and professional filmmakers.

The Festival offers you the chance to meet other filmmakers and industry professionals to exchange ideas and collaborate in a highly creative and inspiring atmosphere.

Manhattanhenge Film Festiva is an international film festival founded at 2018.

The festival accepts movies from all over the world under different categories such as Feature films 40 min +more, Foreign Films, Short films, , Student movies, Horror, Comedy, Web series/video, Documentaries movies, Best Director & Best Actor Projects.

In the end, our main aim was and still is to bring immigrant, foreign filmmakers together regardless of their experience.

If you’re an aspiring director, you will know that it is crucial for your work to be appreciated no matter the size of the audience or the budgets of the films you compete against. At Manhattanhenge Film we care about your skills and vision.

AWARDS & RULES

All foreign-language works MUST be subtitled in English to be considered.

1. Submission Eligibility
- All submissions must have been completed after January 1, 2021.
- There is no premiere policy.

2. Exhibition Format: h.264 Quicktime file

3. Please disregard any automatic notifications from FilmFreeway. If you don't hear from us DIRECTLY via email
Manhattanhenge Film Festival. Please bear with us as we carefully review all works submitted to us with extreme care and consideration.

4.MHFF there will be no full film screening of projects. We provide Award ceremony only and screen short clips/trailers

Manhattanhenge Film Awards will be given out certificates, laurels and trophies to the nominated submissions are given in these categories for cinematic excellence. One winner will be chosen by the judges to receive a Trophy, Laurel and a certificate.

→ All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles.

→ All films must have been made in or after 2021.

→ Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.

→ By submitting to us, you give us the right to screen your film (such as trailer/short clip) in front of a live audience.

→ Nominations: All films nominated for every category. 
Official Selection: Films selected for screening will be notified via email. If you received a Nomination email, but no Official Selection email, it means your film will not be screened, but is still a contender for an award in its category. 
Award Winners: Chosen from both the Nominations and the Official Selection.

→ We may promote clips from your film on FilmFreeway platform or on your social media, based on the press kits you provide us with.

→ We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. All filmmakers will be informed about any changes through our online platforms.

→ We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.

→ Any technical issues with the submitted films are 100% the responsibility of the filmmakers. If, at the time of judging, your video file doesn’t work or doesn’t have English subtitles (if in a language other than English), it will be automatically rejected, without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP if there are any issues with the submission process, and a solution will be found.

→ We cannot provide refunds.

→ By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.

→ We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions.

    Thanks for selecting "Enter the Room" into your festival. I wasn't able to attend the festival in person, but was impressed with the amount of detail and communication provided. I had a good experience overall and will definitely consider submitting future projects to Manhattanhenge Film Awards.
