London Movie Awards is an international monthly film festival with live screenings in London at the Close Up Cinema Film Centre.

London is considered one of the most beautiful cities of the world, our mission is to promote films, and be another step up in the filmmakers' careers.

In the last few months we rewarded important movie stars as as 12-time Grammy winner Willie Nelson, Eric Roberts, Peter Bogdanovich, Jeremy Irons, Malcolm McDowell, Terrence Howard, Jeremy Piven, Bill Nighy, Kevin McNally and many others.

A selection of short films will be screened in a beautiful venue: the Close Up Cinema Film Centre.

Rules & Terms

We accept:

Short and feature films, in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non fiction), experimental or animated film.
Music Videos
Web/TV Series (also pilot)
Feature Scripts, Short Scripts

By submitting your film, take note that:

You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster/stills) for promotional purpose.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Only a selection of winning films will be screened.
Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.
You agree to receive promotional email from us and our festival partners
You can submit again your work for the following months.
The films must include English or Italian subtitles (unless the spoken language is English or Italian)
The scripts must be in English or Italian.

We do not accept:

Amateur videos
Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations
Films involving politics / films promoting political agenda
Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD.

    Thank you London Movie Awards for awarding Touching Love the silver award in the narrative short film category. On behalf of the team I can say we were absolutely overjoyed at the news of the award. It means so much as the film festival is one of the few out there that explicitly takes a stand against the social pressure groups that have infiltrated the independent film world pushing their ideological agendas. I wish there were more of this courage amongst filmmakers and cinephiles. So I am full of respect for London Movie Awards!!
