The London Music Video Awards®, taking place at the iconic Rich Mix in London, offers you the spotlight in the world of music videos.

Our film festival, set in the vibrant heart of London, celebrates the artistry of music videos, uniting promising creators from diverse genres. This annual festival offers a unique platform for the best in the industry to connect.

Our film screenings and networking sessions unite musicians, filmmakers, and music enthusiasts alike in a shared appreciation for the power of visual storytelling through music. All nominated videos are screened in a cinema, giving your work the attention it deserves on the big screen.

Many accomplished filmmakers, such as renowned filmmakers like Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze, embarked on their illustrious careers by directing music videos.

We're committed to showcasing innovative approaches in music video production. Our goal is to discover and celebrate the upcoming generation of outstanding filmmakers, visionary musicians, and the most remarkable music videos from around the world.

Awards & Prizes

The winners of each category will receive an official trophy from our festival, engraved with their awarded title.

Nominees will receive an official certificate from the festival and promoted on our social media channels.

The festival will take place in London, featuring screenings, an award ceremony, networking sessions and live music performances.

Rules & Terms

Music videos must adhere to a maximum duration of 10 minutes.

Filmmakers, producers, or musicians submitting videos to the festival must possess all necessary permissions and rights to submit their video.

By submitting, the entrant grants London Music Video Awards the non-exclusive rights to reproduce the video or portions thereof and to showcase the video for festival purposes or promotional activities.

The London Music Video Awards is open to all music videos released after January 2021.

London Music Video Awards does not guarantee that submitted music videos will be selected for the festival.

All information provided by London Music Video Awards is subject to change without prior notice. The festival reserves the right to modify or reconsider its decision regarding any submission after the initial notification deadline. Such decisions may be influenced by factors including, but not limited to, technical issues, eligibility concerns, misconduct or unforeseen circumstances impacting festival operations.

The London Music Video Awards reserve the right to disqualify any entry, at their discretion, that they deem to violate the standards or spirit of the festival.

The use of paid or artificial social media engagement on any festival content is prohibited.

Any individual or organisation whose submission is disqualified from the festival shall be ineligible to attend or participate in the festival.

The London Music Video Awards judges all submissions on artistic merit only. Inclusion does not constitute political endorsement of any nation, government, or ideology.

Music artists wishing to perform on stage are subject to a review and approval process by the festival. The festival reserves the right to approve or deny any performance request at its discretion.

Entrants must have legal rights to use all elements in their music videos, including music, images, and performances. By submitting, they confirm all necessary permissions and licenses have been obtained. The London Music Video Awards is not liable for any copyright infringement or unauthorized use of intellectual property.

The Music Video of the Week is an online feature, separate from the festival programme. Submission does not guarantee selection.

Videos that are nominated or awarded by the London Music Video Awards are granted the right to use the official festival laurel in promotional materials. Videos that are not selected, disqualified, or withdrawn are not permitted to use the festival laurel or to claim selection status.

No submission fee refunds will be issued for music videos that do not qualify for competition selection. All entry fees are non-refundable.

    The program was truly strong and inspiring. We didn’t win, but the competition was impressive, and I’m glad I had the chance to watch all those great videos.

    The festival team showed an excellent level of hospitality and organization. Communication before and after the festival was smooth and professional.

    I met many amazing artists and hope we’ll stay in touch.

    The festival will highlight your music video and is a great opportunity to share it around a community of real talented people.
    We won the Best Performance on the last edition - we were selected among plenty of other beautiful projects, it's a good way of looking at other's work as well because they have a good selection.
