We are so grateful to have been part of the first edition of the festival. It actually didn't feel like a first edition at all but a seasoned festival with great communication and programming. I will definitely submit again hoping to be part of one of the next editions.

  • Completely blown away by the level of communication, organization, quality of films, venue, and after-party events of the LSFF - and this was the festival's first year running! Laura and team put on such a fun festival, gave out swag bags to filmmakers, had beautiful projection of the films and handed out awards during a fun after-party.I spoke to filmmakers who had traveled a long-distance to come attend, and it was worth it. I will definitely be submitting to LSFF in the future.

  • I'm incredibly grateful for the care and warmth of this festival. Laura and her team knocked it out of the park, and I felt truly celebrated and connected as a filmmaker / participant! The environment was fun and lively, the screening theater was incredible, and I will absolutely be taking part again in LSFF!

This is everything we hoped for when the fest was being created. So glad this was your experience and we can't wait to have you involved again in future editions! It was such a gift to have you moderate our sit-down Q&A's and also share "Smokescreens" with us.
