L’idea de “LA FINESTRA DI FRONTE”, Festival del Cinema sulla disabilità, nasce per raccontare attraverso il mezzo cinematografico, la debolezza e la fragilità come elementi anche di forza della vita e per cercare di educare lo sguardo della società civile a questi temi.
Vogliamo raccogliere le migliori opere internazionali e renderle protagoniste sul grande schermo.
La prima edizione, che si terrà alla casa del Cinema di Roma, nasce da un’idea di Geraldine Schwarz.
L’obiettivo del festival, che vuole diventare appuntamento annuale a Roma, è raccontare la vita di chi ha delle difficoltà, anche solo a muoversi, e far crescere e formare, attraverso la settima arte, gli spettatori ed i cittadini ad una maggiore coscienza e sensibilità civile e culturale di rispetto e di accoglienza anche nei confronti dei diversamente abili, che spesso vivono appunto “alla finestra”.

The first edition, to be held at the Casa del Cinema in Rome, was born from an idea of Geraldine Schwarz.

Verranno premiati per tute le catgorie il miglior film, la migliore sceneggiatura, il migliore attore/attrice protagonista, la migliore fotografia ed il miglior montaggio.
The best film, the best screenplay, the best actor / actress, the best photography and the best editing will be awarded for all categories.
