LONDON ART FILM FESTIVAL (LAFF ) marks our 9th edition since our inaugural event in 2017. We are an international film festival and awards event dedicated to celebrating independent cinema from around the world. LAFF welcomes submissions from all regions and corners of the globe. We believe that art knows no political boundaries, and thus, we extend our invitation to artists and filmmakers worldwide to submit their work to LAFF - the London Art Film Festival.

Please refrain from requesting FREE Submission Waiver, as we are not funded by any public organisations and must cover the costs of the festival ourselves. If you are submitting from a country that lacks credit card facilities, such as Iran or Russia, you may enlist the help of connections in other countries to assist with payment of submission fees.

For student filmmakers, we offer a dedicated category with discounted submission rates. Additionally, all other categories also offer student discounts.

Our goal is to provide a platform for films that may not receive recognition or distribution through other festivals. We aim to bridge emerging technology with emerging filmmakers to showcase captivating concepts, distinctive styles, and powerful messages that resonate with audiences worldwide.

For non-English films, please ensure that English subtitles are embedded in the submission screener.

Please note: Travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the filmmakers.

We take pride in being the leading independent festival in the UK, bringing together the best of world independent films for screening at LAFF - the London Art Film Festival.
