Film maker Mika Orr (Professional Cuddler):

Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival was a great pleasure. I flew all the way from NYC and I would gladly do it again. Highly recommended.
They were super professional and organized. The short film programs were super diverse, mind-opening and well curated. I enjoyed the films a lot and was very humbled they chose my film to participate in one of their programs.
It's obvious that the curators and producers of the festival are filmmakers too.
The whole vibe was very welcoming and friendly.
Thank you so much for choosing me for "Best Director" award - what a great acknowledgement, I was completely overwhelmed!

  • I was coincidently in town when the festival screened my film (I'm from New York) and I really enjoyed my time at this festival! Everyone was really nice and it was a great venue they chose to host at. Though we shared space with a theatre/comedy company, it was never distracting or a problem. I recommend you submit!

This festival was the highlight of my summer. The entire team was super helpful, accommodating and kind. My documentary, 7/8ths of the Way There, screened in the documentary block along side some other great shorts. I loved the venue from the seating to the sound quality. I would definitely recommend submitting to this festival!
