I never felt comfortable articulating my thoughts with words. Film has been another language and an exit that speak my mind.
Some moments are beyond description. Film is a powerful medium because it stimulates all of our senses. A lot of elements can be incorporated into a film: space, movement, time, sound, texture, and etc. Film certainly has helped me to understand better about myself and the people, and the world around me. When I create a film, I don’t consider the medium merely as the medium itself, but rather a light, a space, a movement, a touch, a sight, and a sound. I observe the thoughts and emotions which are often so contradictory to each other that constantly collide between the past and present. I am most inspired by the feelings and afterimages derived from the discrepancy in human desire.
