An ego that dwells on the memories of the past is unable to enjoy the present, yet has a desire of letting go; an alter ego dives in the moment without thinking about getting hurt.

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She is a filmmaker and multimedia artist based in Chicago and Seoul, currently studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, majoring in Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Film.
I am a visual artist without a biased preference towards a particular medium. I am mostly interested in films, but I'm into sculpture, drawing and performance as well. But even when I draw or make something, I don't consider the medium merely as the medium itself, but rather a touch, a sight, and a sound. What is meaningful to me is that to see a sculpture as a performance and a performance as a sculpture at the same time in a way. Like how a lot of elements can be incorporated into a film to make a harmony — space, time, movement, sound, texture, and etc — the act of making a sculpture or a drawing can also be a performance. I feel like the moment you create something, every single thing you feel is the work you consume and produce. And mostly I prefer to capture that certain act or atmosphere through films, and I believe in the power of delivery that a film can have.
