1.- Short films completed on or after January 1, 2022, are eligible to participate. The
call for entries is open to the general public, both nationally and
internationally.
2.- The theme is open.
3.- Short films may belong to any of the following categories:
Fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, video performance, found footage, video essay, ethnographic cinema, indigenous cinema, queer cinema.
4.- Works must have a minimum duration of 1 minute and a maximum duration of 160 minutes
(short, medium, and feature length).
5.- Films may be made with any type of camera or digital technology.
6.- Films must be authored by the participating artist or filmmaker.
7.- Selected foreign films must have Spanish subtitles for their final screening.
8.- Registration will be done exclusively through the FilmFreeway platform.
9.- Selected authors must send their film via a download link
through platforms such as Dropbox, WeTransfer, Vimeo, Drive, or similar.
10.- The official selection will be announced on the festival's website and social media.
11.- The jury's decision is final.
12.- The selected works will be screened in person from September 22 to 26, 2026.
13.- Contestants are responsible for the rights to the works submitted.
14.- Screening times will be announced in the official Festival program, as well as on the Festival's social media accounts.
15.- The Festival may use excerpts from the selected films to promote the event in the media, including on the Internet.
16.- Under no circumstances will the Festival organizers cover travel expenses, per diem allowances, or accommodation for the authors of the selected short films.
17.- The Festival is non-competitive and therefore will not pay screening fees to the selected artists.

19.- Music videos or advertising videos will not be accepted.
20.- Once a film has been registered with KINAM, no refunds will be given.
21.- Submitting a film to KINAM, International Festival of Different Cinema, implies acceptance of these rules.

1.- Podrán participar cortometrajes finalizados a partir del 1º de enero del 2022. La
convocatoria está abierta para todo público, tanto a nivel nacional como
internacional.
2.- El tema es libre.
3.- Los cortometrajes podrán pertenecer a cualquiera de las siguientes categorías:
Ficción, documental, animación, experimental, video performance, found footage, video ensayo, cine etnográfico, cine indígena, cine queer.
4.- Las obras deberán tener una duración mínima de 1 minuto, máximo 160 minutos
(corto, medio y largometraje).
5.- Las películas podrán estar hechas con cualquier tipo de cámara o tecnología digital.
6.- Las películas deberán ser de autoría del artista o cineasta participante.
7.- Las películas extranjeras seleccionadas deberán contar con subtítulos en idioma español para su exhibición final.
8.- La inscripción se realizará exclusivamente a través de la plataforma FilmFreeway.
9.- Los autores seleccionados deberán enviar su película en un link de descarga
a través de plataformas como: Dropbox, We transfer, Vimeo, Drive o similar.
10.- La selección oficial se dará a conocer por medio de la página web y las redes sociales del festival
11.- El fallo del Jurado será inapelable.
12.- Las obras seleccionadas se proyectarán de manera presencial del 22 al 26 de septiembre del 2026.
13.- Los concursantes son responsables de los derechos de las obras enviadas.
14.- Los horarios de proyección serán anunciados en el programa oficial del Festival, así
como en las redes sociales del mismo.
15.- El Festival podrá utilizar fragmentos de las películas seleccionadas
para difusión del evento en medios de comunicación, incluyendo Internet.
16.- La organización del Festival no cubrirá en ningún caso la cobertura de pasajes,
viáticos o alojamiento para los autores de los cortos seleccionados.
17.- El Festival es de carácter no competitivo por lo cual no pagará proyecciones a los
artistas seleccionados.
18.- No serán aceptados vídeos musicales o videos publicitarios.
19.- Una vez inscrita una película a KINAM no se podrán hacer devoluciones.
20.- Enviar una película a KINAM, Festival Internacional de Cine Diferente implica la aceptación de estas normas.
