The organisers were a pleasure to deal with and did a great job sending out press releases to publicise my little film's involvement - my local paper even ran a story. Due to travel restrictions I was unable to attend in person so I can't comment on physical event itself. Overall, I felt it was a modest but great value festival with a uniquely positive theme.

Excellent festival- very well organised, prompt communication, and Joy went above and beyond with contacting press and setting up interviews for each of the finalists. It was a great privilege to get to screen my film 'I, Dear' at the Hoyts cinema and win best female filmmaker. A fantastic celebration of film, joy, and diversity!

It's a really wonderful festival to screen at - I should know I've screened three films there. So nice to see them on the big screen in a cinema and the audiences really seem to love and embrace everyone's work. Joy is lovely to deal with and does a great job of communicating with filmmakers and marketing the festival.

  • Such a wonderful film festival and such a joy to be selected. I adore its message and it was such a perfect home and our Australia premiere for our short film GOOD FOR ONE FREE HUG. I also love their mission of wanting more diversity in cinema and something I often have and want in my own films that I create. I look forward in much more successes to this great festival and plan to send more of my work!

    Here's to Joy!
