Trying to make the world a better place, may come across as overly idealistic and somewhat corny. Nevertheless, for me, it's a realisation that is so close to home, that I cannot think of any better reason to make documentaries. I am medically retired and my life is mostly constructed by confined parameters. However, having these restricting conditions in my life has never impacted my desire to create and bring positivity to society. Now I am not saying it's all bad in the world, as there are plenty of people out there trying to do good and I want to be part of that movement.

For me, filmmaking is an opportunity to raise awareness about important issues which might just help leave the world a better place for my children and grandchildren and future generations.
