The Irish Women's Short Film Festival is a new festival dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the voices of women filmmakers across Ireland and the global Irish diaspora. We believe that Irish women — wherever they are in the world — have extraordinary stories to tell, and we exist to give those stories the platform they deserve.

Through a curated programme of short films, the festival shines a light on the depth and diversity of female-led filmmaking talent, from debut directors taking their first steps to established voices pushing the boundaries of the form. From Dublin to New York, London to Sydney, we celebrate the richness of Irish heritage through the art of film.

We are passionate about building a community where Irish women in film can connect, be seen, and be celebrated — no matter where in the world they call home. The Irish Women's Short Film Festival is more than a screening — it's a movement.
