Indigenous Culture Film Festival (InCuFF) is a film festival, including short documentary, short fiction, short experimental films, music clips, photographs and illustrations focused on indigenous cultures from all over the world.
We encourage indigenous filmmakers and photographers to express their indigenous cultures boldly.

Rules and Terms of InCuFF :

• InCuFF takes place in Denizli, one of the most beautiful and touristic cities in Türkiye. Denizli is known for its unique geographical place: Pamukkale.

• InCuFF invites the finalist filmmakers to the festival’s screening and award ceremony.

• InCuFF provides opening ceremony meal, drinks and sightseeing the city for certain guests, filmmakers.

• InCuFF welcomes short documentary, short fiction, short experimental films, music clips and photographs focused on Indigenous Cultures from all over the World.

• In InCuFF 'Official Selection' (Selected) means that the film is in Non-Competition Category and will take part in the non-competition screening program.

• In InCuFF 'Finalist' means that the film is in Competition Category and will take part in the competition screening program.

• InCuFF Screening Categories:

- Turkic Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from: Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Sakha Republic, Tataristan, Bashkortostan, Gagauzia, Chuvashia, Karakalpakstan, North Cyprus, South Azerbaijan, Hungaria, Kosovo, Chukotko Özerk Okrugu and Turkic directors’ films from all over the world)

- European Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all European Countries)

- Asian Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all Asian Countries)

- American Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all American Continent Countries)

- African Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all African Countries)

- Oceania Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all Oceania Countries)

- Arabic Indigenous Culture Films (We welcome films from all Arabic Countries)

- Türkiye'den Yerel Kültür Konulu Kısa Filmler (Indigenous Culture Short Films from Türkiye)

- Indigenous Culture Music Clips (We welcome music clips about indigenous culture from all over the world)

- Indigenous Culture Photographs (We welcome photographs about indigenous culture from all over the world)

- Indigenous Culture Illustrations (We welcome illustrations about indigenous culture from all over the world)

• InCuFF doesn’t limit the number of film submissions of filmmakers.

• In InCuFF maximum duration for short films is 24 minutes, including credits.

• InCuFF doesn’t accept films including commercial works and political propaganda films.

• Submitted films should include English or Turkish subtitles.
(Finalist Films should include Turkish subtitles. Films with no Turkish subtitles should ask for an option of translation and adding Turkish subtitles from the INCuFF Committee).

• InCuFF doesn’t pay any screening fees.
• InCuFF committee provides opening ceremony meal and drinks, sightseeing for certain guests, filmmakers in festival days.

• InCuFF’s official selection of films can be watched in the InCuFF Digital Film Library, be accessible to the industry professionals for the duration of the festival and available for private watch on a secure server by jury members, film festival organizers, film critics, buyers and distributors during and after the festival. The contact info for each corresponding producer or rights holder can be published.

• InCuFF’s official selection of films becomes a part of the festival’s traveling showcase. INCUFF finalist films and official selection films could be screened on another non-commercial screenings.
• In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.
• All fees are non-refundable.
• Any foreign film that is not in English must have English or Turkish subtitles.

• Not all the submissions are selected for the Official Selection. The jury choose the Official Selection and Finalist Films and no answers will be given about not selected films.
• INCUFF considers any film to be disqualified if the festival considers the content inappropriate. If you have any question regarding this decision you can contact us at our email address: inculturefest@gmail.com
• A fee is required for all the Categories. For payment structure visit FilmFreeway website.
• The submitters must accept the INCuFF Rules and Terms.
• By submitting your film, you authorize INCuFF to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and film stills in INCuFF social media.
• When submitting your film, you are consenting to INCuFF Privacy Policy. INCuFF is committed to respect each filmmaker's preferences. INCuFF contacts you through your email or social media provided in the submission page to inform updates on your submission status, screening and DCP requirements as well as to provide information about events, services, promotions that you might be interested in.

When submitting a short film, please also provide an Electronic Press Kit including the following information:
• A still photo from the film (color at 300 dpi, jpg, png format)
• A film synopsis (in English)
• A brief biography of the director (in English)
• A photograph of the director (color at 300 dpi, jpg, png format)
• Film credits.

• How to submit a photograph?
When submitting a photograph, please also provide an Electronic Press Kit including the following information:
• A brief biography of the photographer (in English).
• All photographs for submission should be in jpg or png or pdf format.

• How to submit an illustration?
When submitting an illustration, please also provide an Electronic Press Kit including the following information:
• A brief biography of the illustrator (in English).
• All illustrations for submission should be in jpg or png or pdf format.
