Director and digital marketer Hossam Halim (24) grew up in Agadir, Morocco. He earned a BA in cinema and production in Ouarzazate before completing a master’s at the University of Bologna, Italy, specializing in the digital curation of live-arts audiovisual heritage. He creates research-driven documentaries and applies his cinematic eye to advertising and cultural projects. His work explores migration, memory, and regional identity, often blending archives with contemporary soundscapes. His latest film, Beyond the Mask: Mamuthones and Bilmawn Chronicles, reflects his commitment to preserving cultural heritage and highlighting shared rituals across borders. Fluent in Arabic, French, English and Italian, he is currently based between Agadir and Italy.
