INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS(IDIFA) is an India-based international film festival competition with red carpet screenings and Q&A all year round and an annual awards event.

INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS is looking for independent projects from all genres, especially looking for filmmakers who don’t have the opportunity to showcase their talent from all countries, especially from those traditionally underrepresented in the global film industry.

Every quarter, INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS establishes a comprehensive hierarchy of the most important films in the festival circuit, awarding a considerable number of projects in several different categories.

Besides the red carpet screenings and Q&A all year round, INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS qualifies directly for the quarterly top award-winning projects for the annual event, to celebrate the best of the year.

Awards & Prizes

INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS
All Official Selections of each quarterly Edition:
All projects officially selected in each quarterly round receive the INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS official laurel and the custom certificate (digital format) of achievement according to their final status in the competition and will be listed on our website and Social networks.

All-Winners of Each quartery Edition:
Will receive the INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS Laurels by email and receive the Winner INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS Certificate (digital format) ready for printing & will be listed on our website and Social networks;
Automatically enter the ‘BEST OF THE YEAR’ competition as an Annual Official Selection (will be decided by our Honorable Jury Members).

ANNUAL AWARDS:

(The Traditional Annual format)
From the pool of nominees and awards winners of each cycle of 4 quarterly rounds, INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS shortlists the annual finalists (the top of the year) and decides the 3 top nominations for each of the awardable categories.
All nominated projects are screened at the annual event which closes with the awards ceremony for the best of the year & receive the prestigious INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS Trophy during the Annual Gala Event in front of the Audience. In case they could not attend the Award Ceremony they can receive their trophy by paying shipping costs;

Also, for each quarterly round, INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS decides and awards two overall winners (chosen from all categories) special jury mentions (Awards of Excellence) & Outstanding Achievements Awards.

EVENTS DATES:
The special screenings and Q&A as well as the annual awards have a different timeline that is announced through our website and social media outlets. All submitters are always kept in the loop and in advance to be able to do the preparations to attend the events.

Rules & Terms

Please read these Rules and terms carefully before you submit your project. By submitting your project to competition in the INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you shall be bound by the terms of these Rules and terms.

(1) All films must have English-language subtitles.
(2) INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS can use trailer/teaser/film poster/stills or BTS for promotional purposes (but do not release, under any form or circumstances, the full film)
(3) Submitting your film to the INDIAN DIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FILMFARE AWARDS is not a guarantee of selection. All the official selections, nominees, and winners will be listed on our website permanently. All the winning projects will receive an award or certificate. Please note that we do not offer application fee waivers. We treat every submitter equally.
(4) By submitting, you agree that you own all copyrights and intellectual properties to your work.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
1. Amateur videos.
2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations.
3. Projects involving politics/films promoting political agenda.
4. Pornography.
5. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles for non-English films, poor resolution).

    I received a Best Student Film for my film “RAGE,” which I directed. I am very happy and grateful to this film festival. I sent a video message because they needed and asked if they could send me some photos from the festival, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive a reply, and couldn’t connect with the other filmmakers. However, this was the first time I have ever received an award for my film, so I already feel very grateful and satisfied.
