*IMAC FILM FESTIVAL 2026 *
IMAC Film Festival (IMAC FF) is an annual short film festival initiated by Creative Industry ILUNI UI as a platform for young Indonesian filmmakers to showcase their creativity and vision in short film production. Following its successful editions in 2024 and 2025, the 2026 festival marks a major milestone as it expands into an International Short Film Festival, opening submissions to filmmakers worldwide.
Held in commemoration of National Film Day, the festival celebrates cinema as a medium for dialogue, learning, and inspiration, connecting filmmakers, students, academics, and the public through stories that matter.
The 2026 edition embraces the theme “Resilience”, exploring stories of human strength in the face of uncertainty, crisis, and change. Through this theme, IMAC encourages filmmakers to reflect on perseverance, adaptation, and hope, the essence of resilience in its many forms.
As a national-scale event led by film practitioners, critics, academics, and alumni of Universitas Indonesia, IMAC Film Festival goes beyond screenings. It serves as a collaborative and educational space, fostering meaningful discussions and creative growth among emerging voices in Indonesian cinema.
*Festival Activities*
