Shariq Ali Khan is an Indian filmmaker, writer, director, screenwriter, and theatre actor from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, currently based in Mumbai, India. His work is rooted in emotionally engaging, character-driven storytelling that explores human relationships, psychological conflict, and contemporary social issues. Drawing from his theatre background, he emphasizes authentic performances and meaningful narratives that resonate across cultures.
His debut short film, Grahan, has received international recognition through awards, nominations, and official selections across the United States, Canada, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Pakistan, and India. Alongside filmmaking, Shariq has also earned recognition as a screenwriter for his short screenplay Between The Trees.
