Ici Vietnam Festival Cinema is a non-competitive event that highlights the gaze of filmmakers of Vietnamese origin, from all over the world. It welcomes short films of less than 30' of fiction, documentary and animation (non-exhaustive).
Ici Vietnam Festival Cinéma explores the many faces of a culture without borders and creates a space for unique encounters between filmmakers, their worlds and an audience for whom cultural diversity matters.

This 7th Edition will take place in the heart of Paris, on October 19th & 20th, 2024.

It is a non competitive event, but we try to invite all the filmmakers to come and interact with the audience.

Rules & Terms

The Festival is a non-competitive event with a 5€ admission.

All films sent for pre-selection must be entered online using the entry form. The application form must be completed in full and include all required attachments. Films sent for pre-selection must be subtitled either in French or English. In case of selection, the film must then be subtitled in French for the screening.

The directors and rights holders of the selected films authorize the Festival to use film images for promotion and communication purposes (website, social media, trailer or any other communication tool). Ici Vietnam Festival Cinema reserves the right to keep on its website the promotional elements of said films, as well as footage of the debates (video and photo), for archiving and communication purposes.

The Festival reserves the right to withdraw from its program any film that has not fully completed its application.

The directors of the selected films will be personally notified of the selection of their film. The list of selected films will be published on our website (www.cinema.icivietnam.com).
The directors and rights holders of selected films hereby agree not to withdraw their films from the Festival programme after the announcement of the selection.
