The Hollywood Screenings Film Festival is an international annual event that screens international, national, and local productions.

Sundance, Cannes or Venice FF might be your favorite events, but with us you have more chances to be selected.

Awards & Prizes

The winner will get a GOLDEN TROPHY for BEST OF THE FESTIVAL.
Other winners will get Certificates/Diplomas.
All Officially Selected will get VIP All Films Pass for two people

Rules & Terms

1. Only work created after 2016 is acceptable.
2. Our judges have an access to all submitted work and they vote without sharing your work publicly (online).
3. No porn films.
4. All entries should be sent via FilmFreeway. Please don't send any downloadable files to us directly, such as high-resolution posters or other digital media.
5. By submitting to the festival you confirm that you own the rights to the work
submitted.
6. If you submit SONG, it should be a song separated from the movie,. The song only. If it's a foreign language, attach a translation
7. No Premiere status is required.

    Really grateful for the opportunity to share NORTHPOINTE at the 2026 Hollywood Screenings Film Festival. Mark and his team put together an intimate, filmmaker-friendly experience; truly shows in the care they brought to every aspect of the event.
    The Broadwater Theater was a perfect venue, and the screenings and ceremony ran smoothly from start to finish. I especially appreciated the chance to engage with the audience during the Q&A; it's always a highlight when festivals incorporate this.
    The awards ceremony was thoughtfully done, and I’m honored that NORTHPOINTE received Best TV Pilot.
    Looking forward to submitting to HSFF again in the future.

    It was an honor for "A Fateful Weekend" to screen at Hollywood Screenings Film Festival, especially since the screening was showcasing the 7 short films that had received Best of Festival nominations. Also, Mark Mos was great at keeping us filmmakers updated in regard to all aspects of the festival.

    Seriously good festival is HSFF, it's got everything, and seems just the right size to really get to know people at, people who can make a difference. I live in the UK so couldn't attend, but really wish I could have. Thank you for listing my feature screenplay (elevated horror), SACRED SUN, as finalist, I'm honoured.
