HAUS Awards is a streaming genre awards show brought to you by HAUS Film Festival; featuring Horror, Action, Underground, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. We want truly independent, creative works of passion that are often overlooked.

We seek things savage, terrifying, magical, brutal, and transgressive. We desire innovative works of obsession; DIY nightmares and adventures.

Official Selections will be live-streamed as a distance-safe telepresence party.

HAUS Awards is festive. We feature DJ's music, and dancers, all from the safety of your home. Receive honors, mingle, and participate in Q&A about your film for our captive audience.

Winning films will be designated as "Official Selection", regardless of category.

  • It was such an honor to screen THE AXE AND THE IRON and be a part of the HAUS Awards Online this year! Otis has really put together an incredibly supportive community of filmmakers and an exciting event that made me feel like I was actually there in person with everyone. Such an entertaining live-streamed showcase, hosted by Otis and KLIC-B8, great interviews by Rosey with a live DJ keeping the energy going in between! Otis’s communication was top-notch leading up to the event and even afterward. Such a wonderful human being. ✨

How can I dote on this fest enough? It was an honor and a privilege to screen THE NEXT KILL at HAUS 2019! Aside from the fun selection of flicks we had the privilege of playing with, there were musical acts and over the top burlesque style acts. The venue was great (booze served!) and the communication with Otis in the weeks leading up was/is otherworldly in terms of transparency, which was genuine and real (not a copy/paste style situation at all). I'm thrilled I got to see the movie on the big screen with the HAUS audience and can only see the fest getting bigger, wilder, and crazier! I absolutely hope to submit all future films of mine to the fest and would recommend any filmmaker out there do the same. Thanks to Otis, Kay, and the rest of the HAUS team for putting on such a kickass event!
