Gimpo International Youth Film Festival is a film festival for “kids” and “youth”, held in Gimpo, Korea. We seek variety of creative youth films internationally with passion, and hope to send courage to youth in different countries around the world.

- Festival Date:Oct. 7, 2023 (Sat) to 9 (Mon) (3 days) (Event dates may be adjusted due to circumstances.)
- Event Contents: Opening Ceremony & Awards Ceremony (GIYFF online channel), Screening(GIYFF online channel), Outdoor Screening, Media Literacy Forum and Workshop, Film Reading Education for Kids and Youth Film Production Class, etc.
2. Overview of the Competition

2nd Submission Date: 2023.08.07.(Mon)-08.11.(Fri)
- Submission: All kinds of videos, including dramatic films, animations, documentaries, UCC and YouTube.
1) COMPETITIVE SECTION
▶9 to 12 Section (Ages 9-12/Creative video)
▶13 to 18 Section (Ages 13-12/Creative video)
▶19 to 24 Section (Ages 19-24/Creative Film)
▶25+ Section (Over 25 years old/A good movie for children, youth)
2) SPECIAL SECTION (no age limit): Video containing social values
4 categories-New media(VR/XR), environmental ecology, community, diversity, etc.
The 50 award-winning works will be announced through the opening ceremony and awards ceremony of the GIYFF online channel at Oct. 7, 2023 (Sat)
The 50 winning films will be screened for 3 days(Oct. 7-10) through the GIYFF online channel.
Award certificates are sent via email in pdf format.
