Born out of a love for horror and film festivals, but frustrated with the lack of diversity within them, GASP! is a brand new film festival dedicated entirely to new horror films by minority filmmakers.

GASP! is here to celebrate the diversity we all know is present within this much loved genre, therefore we will be bringing you a range of the latest short and feature length films from people of colour, women, people with disabilities, people within the LGBTQ+ community, together with foreign language filmmakers.

Be sure to look out for mystery classics thrown in too!

GASP! is not a competitive festival.

As the festival is focusing entirely on minority filmmakers, all films submitted must be made by either a woman, a non-binary person, a person with a disability, a person of colour, a foreign language filmmaker or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Thanks so much for selecting our microhorror - hopefully we can get enough time off work next year to be there in person!

Great festival. The space and the festival itself is very inclusive. The staff is lovely and they have a true passion for horror film. There was a lot of variation in the films and filmmakers, showing that genre film has a broad range.

This festival was so good, this is the kind of event that we need, inclusive, opened minded and colorful 🏳️‍🌈🌈
