The inaugural festival of Fugitive Sister Productions in honor of attending Cannes Film Festival with NYU Professor Karoly Bardosh to increase accessibility for female and queer filmmakers. THE SCREENING IS AT THE EDEN HOTEL ON MAY 19TH FROM 1-5PM. We host short-film, script, and photography competitions with the opportunity for the winners to present their work or view their work through our live-stream at The Eden Hotel in Cannes during the Cannes Film Festival.

1st Prize: $100. 2nd: $50. 3rd: $25.

WOMEN IN STORIES CONTEST

WOMEN IN ZINES PHOTO CONTEST
1st Prize: $50. 2nd: $25. 3rd: $10.

All other categories will be mailed place certificates for 1-3. Only the winner of each category will be screened.

Rules & Terms

1. If you cannot attend the event, STILL SUBMIT!! Zoom links to view our screening and panel will be sent to all participants.
2. Only students may apply to the student categories however students may apply to any category
3. For the WOMEN IN FILM CONTEST, we encourage all genders to apply however priority will be given to women presenting directors and producers.
4. For the WOMEN IN STORIES CONTEST, submit any story of any length with a female main character (scripts, play, novel, pilot, etc.).
5. Due to volume concerns inside the theater, only the winner of each category and 4 of their crew will be able to attend the in-person screening.
6. For the WOMEN IN ZINES PHOTO CONTEST, submit a photo with a female presenting subject 18 years or older.
