Fresh International Film Festival is a festival for young filmmakers aged 7 -19. It takes place in Limerick, Ireland in March / April every year and involves screenings, workshops and meetings.

All films submitted under the 'Island of Ireland' (Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland) category are eligible for Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year Award.

Audience Award: These will be awarded at the senior regional and national finals and are decided by an audience vote. To be eligible, the filmmaker must be at the screening to represent their film.

Rules & Terms

The film must be
- Made by 7 - 19 year old filmmakers
- Under 15 minutes in duration (Seniors)
- Under 10 minutes in duration (Juniors)
- Films completed after December, 2025
- Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland filmmakers must submit to 'IRELAND OF IRELAND' Category.
- All other countries including Scotland, Wales and England must submit to the 'INTERNATIONAL' Category
