Hey Writers, Got a Script You're Proud Of? We're Gearing Up for Season 2!

If you've recently wrapped up a script, or have a few sitting around that you're not sure what to do with, you might be wondering what comes next. Well, First Read Radio is currently on the lookout for standout scripts to feature in our upcoming Season 2, and yours could be just what we're searching for.

What We Do
Over the past year, we've turned short film scripts into professionally recorded radio plays. We work with a talented team of award-winning actors, directors, and sound designers to bring these stories to life. Once they're polished and ready, we premiere them on our podcast, which is distributed through platforms like FilmShortage.com, Spotify, and iTunes.

Curious? You can listen to some of our Season 1 work at www.firstreadradio.com.

Why We Do It
We started First Read Radio because we have a deep love for short films and storytelling. We believe that good stories should be heard and shared. Plus, creating radio plays is a rewarding way for all of us to practice and refine our storytelling skills. It's a win-win situation for both writers and us.

How to Get Involved
We're accepting submissions year-round, but right now, we're especially keen to find scripts for our upcoming Season 2. Our team will review each submission with a focus on originality, character development, plot, structure, and market potential.
