Filmfare India International Film Festival( FIFF)

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION:

Dear Filmmakers,
🔹 Whether your film is selected as a winner or not, trophies will only be handed over during the official award ceremony.
🔹 As per our festival policy, trophies will not be couriered under any circumstances after the event.

We highly encourage all participants or their official representatives to attend the award ceremony. In the absence of physical presence, we will be happy to provide an e-certificate & Winner Laurel as a token of appreciation.

This policy is in place because we believe in building a strong community of filmmakers.
We especially urge all filmmakers to support and celebrate their fellow artists—particularly those who have worked hard to create films that address critical social issues.
Your presence not only honors their efforts but also reinforces the power of meaningful, purpose-driven cinema.

1- In our Public Choice Award category we will be streaming selected films on a relevant platform to get the public feedback for not more than 30 days for additional Award categories.

The festival will not interact with anyone except the submitter and/ or the producer of the film. If any person - be it the actor, writer, director or any from the production crew tries to forcibly extract information about the status of the film from the festival authorities, the festival will have absolute rights to DISQUALIFY THE FILM from competition and/ or screening which you may kindly note. At the same time, the festival may take the decision to ban the production house completely from sending entries to the next editions of the festival.
The entry form / application will be considered only on receipt of Administrative film submission entry fee as mentioned above.

1. Indian & International Participants have to make payments through FilmFreeway
All entries must be sent to the FIFF prepaid and insured for your own protection.

2. COMPETITION FEATURE FILMS: (Open to all Directors across the Globe)

3. Films entered in the FEATURE FILM Section should be more than 150 mins.

4. COMPETITION SHORT FILMS/ DOCUMENTARY / ANIMATION FILMS
Films entered in the Competition Section must have a running length of not more than 30 mins.
Documentary Film not more than 45 mins.

5. GENERAL

5.1 Films not presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening can be refused by the Festival Director.

5.2 Subtitling is necessary and compulsory for films that are not in English language or in Hindi (Indian Language). Films without subtitles shall not be screened in the Festival.

5.3 The participants must ensure that they have the right to participate in the Filmfare India International Film Festival with regard to parties connected with the production / distribution of the participating film and / or other right holders/licenses.

5.4 Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these and all Regulations as specified.

5.5 The Festival Director will decide all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations but in conformity with the provisions of the International Regulations for film festivals and its decisions shall be final and binding on all parties.

5.6 Entrants should inform the Festival Director by 24th April 2026 about their participation, including the titles of films and the names and addresses of the directors, producers, production companies and world sales companies against each film titles.If Winner is not able to come he/she has to bear courier charges of the Trophy.

NOTE: Festival Director, Programmer, Selection Panel and Jury shall determine selections and / or Award Winners at their sole discretion. FIFF authorities at any time would not entertain any request pertaining to selection films and / or awards. Decision of the FIFF festival authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these rules and regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding to all parties.
