The FilMuzik Arts Festival is an opportunity for musicians and video makers to live a memorable experience among live events in Calabria, Southern Italy. It is the first Festival in this region that offers its audience national and international works that combines Cinema and Music in only one thing.
The FilMuzik Arts Festival lasts about a month and takes place in three different and evocative places due to their historical, environmental and artistic character, namely: Garden of Palazzo Amaduri and Auditorium (Gioiosa Ionica), Roman Theater (Marina di Gioiosa Jonica).
Dive into the Calabrian summer, one of the busiest in Italy for its splendid sea. It will be an unforgettable experience. Participate with your work!
For the FilMuzik Song and FilMuzik Experimental (Cine-concert) categories, a group of music and video operators will select a maximum of 5 pieces of music and 5 cine concerts. For the previous categories, the Festival Management recommends participation only if willing to perform live. In this case, the work can be registered only and exclusively through the appropriate form, available on the website: https://www.birdproduction.org/filmuzik-arts-festival. For the latter category, once the Festival has communicated the selection of the candidate work, the participant must guarantee the live performance in the form of a cine concert on an agreed day.
These categories are not competitive.
For the FilMuzik Videoclip, FilMuzik Short, FilMuzik and FilMuzik Doc categories, a jury of industry insiders/professionals will select a maximum of 5 video clips, 5 short films, 5 films and 5 documentaries.
The winners of the FilMuzik Videoclip, FilMuzik Short, FilMuzik and FilMuzik Doc categories will be awarded a symbolic recognition of the Festival, namely a Bonsai Tree (LEGO).
All the selected works will be screened during the days of the Festival.
The films, documentaries and short films selected, subject to release, can also be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video exclusively for Bird Production.
Any special mentions may be assigned by the Festival management.
The identification logo of the Festival may be affixed to the opening/ending credits of the selected works for free use by the authors, subject to authorization and delivery of the file by the organization.
