The FilMuzik Arts Festival is an opportunity for videomakers and musicians to have a memorable experience among live events in Calabria, Southern Italy. It is the first Festival in this region that offers its audience national and international works that combine Cinema and Music into one.
Dive into the Calabrian summer: one of the busiest in Italy for its splendid sea and the cultural wonders of its territory. It will be an unforgettable experience. Participate with your work in the 7th edition of the FilMuzik Arts Festival
The Festival categories are 4 and are divided into: FilMuzik Videoclip, FilMuzik Short, FilMuzik Doc and FilMuzik.
The Festival wants to spread events of particular artistic importance, with the intention of involving artists of cinema and music. Therefore, film-concerts or cineconcerts, that is, the screening of a film during the live performance of one or more musicians, can also participate. This category is intended outside the competition and all proposals must be sent directly to the e-mail address filmuzik@birdproduction.it.
A jury made up of industry insiders/professionals will select a variable number of works and a maximum of 5 candidate works for the final phase of awarding prizes such as Best Video Clip, Best Short Film, Best Film and Best Documentary.
The winners of the FilMuzik Videoclip, FilMuzik Short, FilMuzik and FilMuzik Doc categories will be hosted for the entire duration of the Festival and will receive a symbolic recognition, namely a Bonsai Tree (LEGO).
All the selected works will be screened during the days of the Festival.
The selected films, documentaries and short films, subject to diffusion, may also be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video exclusively for Bird Production.
It also awards the prize for the audiovisual work of civil commitment, decreed by a jury of students from the Calabrian territory, among the 20 works nominated in all categories. This prize consists of another LEGO product entitled "Everything Is Awesome" and is dedicated to the 'ndrangheta victim Rocco Gatto, a miller killed in Gioiosa Ionica in 1977.
Any special mentions may be assigned by the Festival management and the Youth Prize chosen from all the selected works will be awarded.
The Festival's identifying logo may be placed on the opening/closing titles of the selected works for free use by the authors, subject to authorization and delivery of the file by the organization.
