Fiesta SATX Short Film Festival

The Fiesta SATX Short Film Festival is a precursor event to the largest party in the world, the annual Fiesta San Antonio city wide event which draws over 2.5 million attendees each year. This is our inaugural year and we are looking to meeting new people in the entertainment production industry.

Our festival is for a greater cause as it will be used to raise funding for our 501c3 nonprofit, the Lift Latinhearts Production Fund,

Our goal is to provide the Peoples Choice winner an opportunity to take their short film to the next level.

Whether you have a film you recently shot or an older short film gathering dust on the shelf we would like to see it to see if it is compelling enough to take it to the next level by helping you make it into a series for streaming.

Aside from the awards in the various categories in the Awards section, we will crown the Best Actor and Best Actress as the King and Queen of the Fiesta SATX Short Film Festival and the Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress as Prince and Prince of the Fiesta Short Film Festival. If they are in attendance, we will have them make official appearances in crown and sash at Fiesta San Antonio events.

We are working on adding more unique features listed below to the festival. As we get more backing in feature we will make announcements

1. We are working on setting up a music component to the festival with a line up of diverse bands playing over the festival weekend on the popular St Mary's strip for the enjoyment of our attendees.

2. We are looking at the possibility of exhibiting the "official selections" short films in an art gallery type environment for a period of one year.

3. During the one year period we plan to raise funding for the non-profit and to raise fund to provide "film job grants" to the short films that are on exhibit so that the producers can continue to create jobs by turning their short film into a series, or producing a new short film.

4. In 2025 we plan to add a Industry Conference component to invite major networks and distributors to the conference to provide networking opportunities to our attendees
