L’ART EN CHEMIN is a non-profit French association Law 1901 (J.O 23 Nov 2013).
The association is based in Rully, a village in the Oise, France, close to Paris

The objective is to create a virtuous circle generating social ties in a rural environment. To forge this link, the association hosts various cultural, educational and participatory events.

L’ART EN CHEMIN uses the pretext of walks and hikes so that citizens of all ages come together around art, heritage and ecology.

L'ART EN CHEMIN offers cultural, heritage and ecological events in several municipalities of the Oise: Auger-Saint-Vincent, Crépy-en-Valois, Rully-Bray, Balagny-sur-Aunette, Raray, Trumilly, Senlis (Ecological Park) and Verberie.

As every year, the local press will relay the event, press, web, television

L'Art en Chemin has existed for ten years and has been very successful, and thousands of people have visited the places and the artistic works.

For its tenth anniversary, Art en Chemin is organizing many exceptional events such as concerts and plays. Also, it was decided to give a place to the seventh art. An animated film competition is planned on the theme of the year "Passage-pas sage". Candidates are sought to participate in its first animation film festival as part of the Senlis Short Film Festival.

Section 1
In collaboration with La Boîte à Son et Image which organizes the Short Film Festival of Senlis, the association L'Art en Chemin awards a prize to an animated film on the theme "Passage / Pas sage", in a national competition reserved for animated films.
Section 2
The festival is open to Semi-pros and Amateurs.
Can register:
- Students in audiovisual or cinema
- Video clubs

- Individuals
Section 3
Duration of the films cannot exceed 7 minutes (credits included).
Films must be made after January 1, 2021.
Each director can present several films. If several films by the same director pass the pre-selection, only one will be presented to the jury.
Section 4
All styles of films are accepted as long as they relate to the animation technique, and that they are related to the theme "Passage / Not wise"
The films must be all public.
Section 5
Film formats:
Films in selections can reach us in mp4, mov.
For the projection, dcp format (for directors who do not have one, we will take care of creating one).
Sending films:
The films must be sent by wetransfer or a mandatory download with password on a dedicated platform (YouTube, Vimeo...).
Must be included in the shipment:
- The title of the film, the name of the director and/or the person in charge of submitting the film, as well as the download link.
- The rules and registration form are also to be sent as an attachment to the email. Mandatory.
- A technical sheet with synopsis, filmography and/or CV of the director.
- Royalty-free visuals of the film for promotion on the internet.
- Posters, photos, teasers will be requested as part of a meeting with the directors organized by the association.
- There is no registration fee.

Section 6
Promotion and distribution
The directors assign the rights for the distribution of excerpts in order to promote the festival on the website and for the teaser presentation of the festival.
In agreement with the directors, the films may be shown outside the framework of the festival for events of our partners.
No commercial use will be made and each broadcast will be controlled by L'Art en Chemin.

Section 7
Movie selection.
Preselection: A first selection will be made by a group of members of Art en Chemin and inhabitants of the small village of Barbery during a presentation evening organized by the town hall of Barbery on Friday September 15 (7:30 p.m.). Date of announcement of the preselection from September 20, 2023.
The preselection of 5 finalists will then be put into competition during an official evening between October 5 and 7, 2023 at the Jeanne d'Arc cinema in Senlis. The public will designate the winners by a personal vote at the end of the screenings by means of a card containing the list of films and colored stickers. In the event of a tie, the members of Art en Chemin will have to decide between them.
Selection criteria:
• The proximity of the work to the theme, “Passage / Pas sage”
• Artistic originality
• The quality of the scenario
• Animation techniques

The selection committee is made up of members of L’Art en chemin, La Boîte à Son et Image and our partners.
The jury is made up of members of the municipality of Senlis, our sponsors, active members of the Senlis associative life and audiovisual professionals.
The president of the jury reserves the right to select a favorite film.

Section 9
Presence at the festival
Directors, technicians or representatives are strongly invited to present their films during the screening.
The logistical arrangements for your visit will be specified to you when the films selected for the evening are published.
For any laureate who is absent, they may be called by videoconference or by telephone for the award ceremonies.
Section 10
The participant accepts these rules without reservation.
