Considering the need to promote the city of São Paulo as a space dedicated to fantasy, science fiction and horror, the Festival Boca do Inferno (FBI) comes up with the proposal to exhibit short/feature films, as well as the possibility to present lectures, discussion tables, workshops, exhibition of products of the genre, book launch and musical presentation.

Awards & Prizes

The winning films will be reviewed by the site staff, receive a virtual stamp and have the opportunity for recognition for everyone who accesses the page. Trophies still await sponsorship.

Rules & Terms

Long and Short Film submissions:
- The movie must have been finished after August 1st, 2021;
- Short Films must be 20 minutes or less in length;
- Foreign films must be subtitled or spoken in English or Spanish.
Transcripted subtitles ARE NECESSARY in case the film has been selected.

    A wonderful festival and a must-see event for genre films.
    We are very grateful for the selection of "El monstruo que habita en mí" (The monster that lives in me) in the Mostra Diretoras during this 9th edition.
    The communication has always been fast and efficient. In addition, the sensitivity and support of the festival towards student films like ours should be highlighted.

    Não recebi nenhum retorno do email que mandei perguntando detalhes da exibição online. Não fizeram nenhum contato informando como assistir, como divulgar, nada! Nem sei se o festival aconteceu de fato, ou vai acontecer. Achei uma grande bobagem.

    Débora, não precisaria ir longe. Os selecionados foram notificados da seleção pelas bandeiras, assim como os finalistas. O Festival é atrelado ao site Boca do Inferno, onde foram divulgadas a programação, e banners sobre o local de exibição. Também houve divulgação em sites parceiros, no facebook, no instagram do Boca do Inferno, lives, podcast. Tivemos até reviews...
    Enfim, não precisaria ir longe. Só ter boa vontade.
