The Eutopia Arthouse Film Festival (EAFF) is a non-profit international film exhibition dedicated to fostering artistic exchange and development among young filmmakers. Organized by Queen’s University Belfast and supported by the Queen’s Annual Fund, EAFF places a special emphasis on supporting independent filmmakers who lack substantial financial backing. The festival seeks to highlight films that demonstrate a strong artistic vision and innovative filmmaking techniques, offering a platform for creative works that may otherwise struggle to find exposure in mainstream venues. Through this initiative, EAFF aims to nurture emerging talents who are driven by artistic ambition and innovation.

We were unable to attend the Eutopia Arthouse Film Festival, but they were excellent about communicating with us, and we were grateful that they put a separate instagram post for each film shown at the festival including ours. It was nice to feel connected to what was happening from so far away.

I’m truly grateful to the film festival for recognizing my documentary. The organizing committee was extremely attentive and responded patiently to all my emails. It’s a real shame I couldn’t attend the event in person — I’m sure it was fantastic. I hope I’ll get the chance to visit the UK next time.
