Eastern's Green Frog Film Festival focuses on stories pertaining to the three pillars of sustainability with an emphasis on stories that intersect them: environmental issues, social issues, and economic issues. Stories told by or about traditionally marginalized peoples and their cultures are encouraged to submit.
The festival will showcase and celebrate films of short, medium, and feature length. The festival will accept fiction films, animation films, documentary films and experimental films.
After a very successful initial year, the festival is returning for a second installment with plans to be bigger and better. In it's first year, Eastern's Green Frog Film Festival had a huge amount of submissions from all around the world in all the various modes of filmmaking. There were many very creative films that connected to the pillars of sustainability.
We are excited to kick off our second annual Green Frog Film Festival. We are again accepting films that connect to one of the three pillars of sustainability - economic issues, social issues, or environmental issues. Please make sure your film connects. We are again accepting films of various durations and modes.
The film festival will bring important stories to audiences in Eastern Connecticut.
There will be recognition of the top three films in every category.
